Reservoir in flood control, power generation, shipping, water supply, etc play an important role, and its role in the reservoir must have long-term use of usable capacity. Reservoir in the process of using water level elevation, reduce speed and is easy to form within the reservoir sediment deposition, so the reservoir sediment delivery is required. Therefore optimization scheduling of water and sediment in reservoirs joint research, while maintaining the reservoir long-term health use, with the goals of comprehensive reservoir is of great significance.First of all, this article from the basic theory of reservoir optimal operation of joint water sand paper, the summary of sediment deposition in the reservoir and its basic rule, reservoir water sand operation mode on the basis of the basic goals combined dispatching of reservoir water and sediment and the solving methods.Then the one-dimensional sediment mathematical model for reservoir calculation results as the foundation, set up the calculation of sediment deposition in reservoir adaptive BP neural network model, in a quick fitting forecast amount of sediment deposition in the reservoir.And then accelerating genetic algorithm is adopted to improve the reservoir optimization dispatching calculation, and the calculation results compared with other methods, as to optimize the dispatching of reservoir water sand joint method.On this basis, and sedimentation minimum generation built joint optimization scheduling model, reservoir water sand respectively through a feed-in tariff and mechanical dredging uniform two basic goals for economic indicators, using accelerating genetic algorithm is used to build the model, the sediment deposition in computing adaptive BP neural network is adopted to improve the fitting calculation.Finally, by using the model and solving method of joint optimization scheduling of water and sediment of the three gorges reservoir, the calculation, the calculation results show that the reservoir operation for50years, accumulated comprehensive benefits, respectively, compared with the conventional calculation method and dynamic programming is increased by1.992%and1.074%under the optimal operation. Which showed that the model established in this paper is effective and reasonable, can consider the three gorges reservoir generation and sediment delivery request, and give the optimal operation mode.
