The21st century is the century of cities. In the New period, the new requirements and goalsof the city’s construction and development is to construct a new city in which low-carbonenvironmental protection, livable, humanities heritage, innovative development are involved.The construction mode in traditional period which pursuits to maximize the economic benefitssuitable in today’s new era. A new urban developmental and reform movement is under way. Itmakes it the core which sustainable urban development and urban life quality has steadilyimproved.With the state formally approved the implementation of "planning" the development ofGuangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, China-ASEAN free trade area was formally establishedand the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation deepening, Nanning city construction speedis greatly accelerated, the appearance of the city change rapidly. In new period, carrying outresearches on urban open space, is the requirement of promoting ecological construction ofNanning city, also meets the needs of strengthening the management of urban space.This article starts with the concepts of open space, taking the central urban area of Nanningas an example, quantitatively analyze the pattern of characteristics and trends quantitativeanalysis of the pattern of characteristics and trends of Nanning downtown urban open space indifferent periods. At the same time, through using geographic information system (GIS) networkanalysis technology, the present situation in Center of Nanning City Park place’s service areacoverage is calculated based to regional accessibility evaluation. Finally, relying on the ENVIsoftware, Nanning Urban Open Space thermal environmental characteristics were analyzedthrough the method of atmospheric correction. As to analyze the impacts on thermal environmentbrought by the open space pattern change. At the same time, by combining GIS and networkanalysis technology, city park square in Nanning has been evaluated in terms of accessibility.Research concluded that: since1980’s, Nanning urban open space on the overall presented adecreasing state, its spatial distribution has retreated to the city peripheral suburbs. Meanwhile,with the reduction of total city open space, the coverage area of Nanning urban surfacetemperature has enlarged in autumn period. Currently, the accessibility of the study area is quitecommon, its service area failed to achieve full cover the city center. Differences in spatialdistribution and accessibility on both sides of Yong Jiang River park has enlarged. In autumnperiod, Nanning city centre urban heat island effect is quite obvious under conditions ofcloudless weather. The surface average temperature of urban open space in downtown area is1.16℃-6.64℃lower than those of other land types.This study puts forward the following3 aspects of countermeasures on open space: gradually increase the quantity and areas of urbanopen space, optimize the structure and layout of the existing open space, reduce the park plazaaccess restriction, make the city park more widely accessible to the public, improve city trafficnetwork and improve the accessibility of open space.This paper was composed of seven chapters. Chapter1begins with an introduction on openspace, in which the basic concepts and state of urban open space at home and abroad wasillustrated. The research object, scope, purpose and the research significance, the research ideasand research methods were also put forward. Chapter2basically studies the regional areas inNanning. According to statistical data of the study area, briefly analyzed the natural andhumanistic environment of the area. Chapter3studies the open space pattern of Nanning city, bymeans of RS and GIS analysis, quantitatively analyzed the characteristics and changing patternsof Nanning city in different periods. Chapter4was a study on the space pattern of Nanning citypark plaza and Service area coverage condition. Taking Arcgis as the support, and by usingnetwork analysis methods to statist and analyze the distribution and accessibility of the studyarea. Chapter5studies the urban thermal environment characteristics of Nanning city open spacein autumn period. Supported by ENVI software, through studying distributions of Nanning city’surban thermal environment in different periods, as to discuss the differences on surface averagetemperature between rban open space and other types of land. Chapter6explores thecountermeasures of optimizing the Nanning city urban open space. Chapter7summarizes theconclusion of this research paper, as to foresee the research direction on open space. |
