Because of the low efficiency of the pumping system for volatile media, this subject usesa combination of theoretical analysis and experimental measurements to study and optimizethe volatile media pumping system. The main contents are as follows:First, we study the energy efficiency of the pumping system for volatile media. From thetheoretical calculations, we know that the efficiency of the pumping system composes of themechanical efficiency and the volumetric efficiency. In order to demonstrate the conclusionthat the friction lose is a very small part of the losses in volatile media pumping system, weestimate the maximum friction lose and the result supports it. Then we introduce a theoreticalmodel for guiding the volatile medium pumping system optimization. The model shows that, the optimization of volatile medium pumping system is divided into three parts, that is, theinlet pipeline conditions optimization, outlet pipeline conditions optimization and the pumpoptimization.Second, we use CFD software to study the flow conditions in the vane pump. The resultsindicate that internal leakage and cavitation are the main reasons for the low volumetricefficiency. On this basis, we study the vane surface structure on the impact of pumpingefficiency. The results show that blade surface structure has a little impact on the volumetricefficiency of the pumping system, but has an impact on the mechanical efficiency. Amongthem, the top longitudinal V-groove structure can effectively improve the mechanicalefficiency of the pumping system.Third, we introduce the magnetic vane pump to the frequency variable pumping systemof volatile media, theoretical analysis and the field test show that the frequency variablemagnetic pumping system can effectively improve the efficiency of the pumping system ofthe volatile media. And for the shortcomings of the existing frequency variable control model,we design a control model which can match the flow, the speed of the pump and the bestefficiency point.Forth, by comparing the frequency variable vane pumping system and frequency variablemagnetic pumping system, we give the trend of a pumping system optimization, that is,optimize a pump that its pumping efficiency does not change with the pump speed. And afterthat, only need to meet the flow requirements, can we achieve the purpose of energy saving. And we can completely change the pumping system from the valve control to the pumpcontrol. Finally, for the filter clogging phenomenon often happens in the actual process, we propose to develop a DSP inlet pipe conditions monitoring system which combines the flowrate signal and current signal to ensure the filters are cleaned in time, so that pumpingefficiency can be guaranteed...
