On The Application Of The Modern Screen In Interior Space

As a kind of indoor display, modern screen has an important role in interior design. Screen can help to form unique indoor space combination and, with organization and limitation, reshape the interior space of buildings. This study is mainly about the functions of modern screen in modern interior space, with its focus on interior space reshaping and the cultural theme of residential environment. This paper will elaborate the application of modern screen in interior space design of both public and residential buildings. Through the analysis of the characteristics of different spaces, this paper also studies the different methods in making screen design. This series of screen design adopts the elements in the traditional Chinese culture, classical garden architecture and ink landscape, thus giving folding screen a novel way of fusion into modern interior design. In addition, further discussion about the interaction between modern screen and users, or about their experience of design participation, could also be found in this paper.
