Quality Evaluation Studies Of Urban Waterfront Recreation Space

With the rapid development of the urban economic and the continual development of urbanization process, the development and construction of the urban waterfront space at home and abroad, along with the waterfront space research progress and the improving recreational needs of urban residents, has a timely manner to shift the focus to the potential full economic value of recreational function in waterfront space.At this stage, the design achievements and building achievements on the urban waterfront space at home and abroad have been numerous, but the evaluations of quality on waterfront recreation space are few. Therefore, the author starts from whether the waterfront recreation space meets the recreational needs of recreation, and does a detailed study of the evaluation on the quality of the urban waterfront recreation space in order to enrich the theories of landscape evaluation and provide some guidance for the follow-up waterfront space designs and constructions.The main content of this study includes the following aspects:(1) For the urban waterfront recreation space content, the author tried to resume the basic theories associated with this article;(2) Combined the theory with the actual, the author analyses the quality of the urban waterfront recreation space at these six aspects including hard site and plant landscape, recreation products, reachability, inner lines, recreational infrastructures and recreation image;(3) According to the evaluation of the previous experts and scholars, the author used the Delphi to pre-investigate by tourists and establish evaluation index system, used method of expert interviews and entropy weight method to determine the index weight, and combined with the fuzzy evaluation method to establish an evaluation system, and put forward the method to validate the results;(4)Got Fuzhou Minjiang Park as examples, the author set questionnaire using Likert scale and used the evaluation system to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of the Minjiang River Park to get the final assessment, and verified the evaluation system by comparing the results from the tourists evaluation and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Finally, the main conclusions of this study are:(1) Combing the theory and the practice to establish urban waterfront recreation space quality evaluation index system, and the system has the three index system which consists of8hard site and plant landscape indicators,5recreation products indicators,5reachability indicators,6inner lines indicators,9recreational infrastructures indicators,8recreation image cognition indicators;(2) The final assessment of the quality of the Minjiang River Park is0.647, so we can learn the quality of the Minjiang River Park is ok and the park can meet the recreational needs of residents well. By comparing the results from the tourists evaluation and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, we verified the scientific and rational evaluation system;(3) According to the evaluation system built for the study and the example of Minjiang River Park, the author try to give some guiding recommendations on the evaluation system and hope to the construction of waterfront space at the end of paper.
