As the inner structure of automobile is becoming more and more complex, thediagnostic system has to keep updating in order to strengthen the diagnostic capcity forone new automobile. Limited by lower efficiency and scalability, conventional softwaredeveloping method is hard to keep in pace with the current changing requirements ofautomobile industry. AUTOSAR standard presents a new way to meet the requirementson reusability and scalability. However, the domestic research of AUTOSAR is justbeginning, and no related commercial product is available presently.Under this circumstance, this work aims at designing a AUTOSAR standardconformed diagnostic system, and a multiple diagnostic protocol supported diagnosticcommunication managing software which could be configured flexibly. Also, this workstudies the methods for verdicting the conformance level of diagnostic communicationsoftware to AUTOSAR, and designing simulative test platform as well. The researchmethods and contributes of this work are concluded as follows.1. By referring AUTOSAR standard and analysing diagnositc communicationprotocol, the high level design of diagnostic system is proposed. The system iscomposed by DCM(Diagnostic Communication Manager), DEM(DiagnosticEvent Manager) and DET(Development Error Tracer.) This desgin contibutes alow coupling of the components, and serves a good foundation for DCM tosupport different diagnostic services.2. The DCM is divided into three sub-modules, DSL, DSD and DSP, while DSL isresponsible for managing message reciveing/transmiting, sessions, securitylevels, protocols, DSD is responsible for the managing message responsing, andDSP is responible for managing diagnostic services. This software is able to beconfigured with multiple seesions, multiple seciurtiy levels and mutipleprotocols, which leads to a good scalability. Moreover, it is underlying bus-independent, so it is well portable.3. The AUTOSAR conformance testing methodoloy is analysed, and a dynamicconformance framework is designed and implemented. By decompsing theadapter, this framework enables test case and system under test running on different platform. The result of conformance test verdicts a high conformancelevel of DCM to AUTOSAR system.4. Selecting MC9S12XEP100demoboard manufactried by Freescale company asserver, CAN bus as underlying bus, serial bus as monitoring media, a simulativetest platform for DCM is implemented. The experiments indicate that thisplatform is convenient and capable of simulates the the automobile diagnosticenvironments.
