With the rapid development of automotive technology and the continuous improvement of people’s requirements for automotive performance,the number of ECUs in automobiles will continue to increase,resulting in the increasing load rate of the vehicle network,at the same time,the bandwidth and data transmission speed of the existing vehicle network also limit the development of the automobile industry,which requires the development of a new vehicle network.Because of its high bandwidth,high speed and high scalability,Ethernet will become the next generation of vehicle networks.Although Ethernet has been widely used in the IT industry and is stable,Ethernet is still a new technology for automotive industry,and because the automotive industry is closely related to personal and property safety,So the new vehicle network must be tested after it is applied to ensure the consistency of its protocol.Automotive Ethernet mainly involves TCP/IP protocol.This paper chooses the important protocols in TCP/IP protocol.Based on the in-depth study of the protocol standard and combined with the IXIA test tools and the Upper Tester,the automotive Ethernet protocol conformance test system based on the IXIA tools is designed and implemented.Protocols involved in protocol conformance testing include: ARP,ICMP,IP,TCP,and UDP.By analyzing the protocol conformance test principle and the standard specifications of each protocol,a protocol conformance test requirement specification is designed,which provides the requirements and objectives for the test system construction.This thesis completes the hardware platform of the test system based on the IXIA platform and designs Upper Tester to realize remote control of DUT.The development of Upper Tester is mainly for the design and development of SOME/IP protocol messages.Through the design of SOME/IP protocol header and message load,the requirement of DUT function for automotive Ethernet protocol conformance test is satisfied.The automotive Ethernet protocol conformance test set was written with reference to the test specification "Automotive Ethernet ECU Test Specification",which formed a comprehensive and reasonable test set.This thesis uses test system to complete protocol conformance testing verification,through the verification test of the Upper Tester and test suite,prove the feasibility and accuracy of the test system.The test results show that the test system can discover the problems realized by the DUT protocol and guarantee the quality of vehicle communication.
