Liaoning Western Ancient Fossil Packaging Visual Elements Research

Special product fossils in the western part of Liaoning Province are the most preciousparts of the world natural heritage. Paleontology is different from the cultural relics. It issignificant precious non-renewable geological relics. Because of its complex processincluding formation, preservation, discovery, and mining, the fossils are extremely rare andare in the high value of scientific research, appreciation and collection. Chaoyang in Liaoxiarea is the cradle of our nation which is regarded as a "new dawn" Oriental civilization rises.It is a major producer of "fossils". Based on the reorganization of historical cultural and itscultural resources in the city of Chaoyang, this paper summed up that packaging visualelements from regional cultural resources has the high value of research. This paper alsoanalyze the current situation about packaging design of fossils in western Liaoning by meansof the detailed research of fossils in western Liaoning, and finally draw a conclusion that thereare still some problems the paleontological packaging design of visual elements at present,such as, the incompleteness of packaging visual information, the lack of cultural awareness,unreasonable packaging structure design, rough process in packaging manufacturing,packaging materials without environmental protection. To solve these problems, an improvedmethod of the fossils in packaging design of visual elements in western Liaoning is providedincluding the strengthening of regional culture in the western Liaoning fossils packaginggraphic elements in the performance of outstanding products, highlighting the performance ofspecial packaging three-dimensional elements, meeting the need of the green design etc, andthen take the angle of local culture, product characteristics, consumer demand, the ecologicalenvironment, I combine the visual design concept of fossils in western Liaoning packagingwith these angles, make use of modern design thoughts to do the further study from the visualaesthetic feeling, local culture and the function of fossils in western Liaoning packaging. Thispaper aims to enhance the art value the fossils in western Liaoning packaging, add cultureconnotation to the fossils in western Liaoning another, and promote packaging expressingability. This study employs several ways of analysis: first, inductive analysis to analyze thetheory and its related topics; second, analysis of on-the-spot investigation to understand thecurrent situation of local customs and fossils packaging in Chaoyang site; combination ofanalysis of theory and practice, to study the theory to design practice in the project. Theresearch has practical significance and maneuverability. The in-depth research on this topicwill not only improve the art value, cultural value and economic value in fossils packaging in western Liaoning, but also promote the development of the tourism souvenir market,revitalization of Liaoning tourism economy, promote the full vitality of contemporary culture,and provide the theory basis and the possibility to the rest of the fossil products or localcharacteristics tourism.
