China is a big country at building dams in the world. Since1949the water resourcesprojects in our country has achieved remarkable success.The dams has brought significantsocial and economic benefits to our country. But as the time passing by, more and more oldand sick dam appeared, once dam burst,it will result in disastrous tragedies and greateconomic loss. The safety problems of dams will more and more standout. It has became thefocus of many people and researches.Actually most of the destruction of dams was not sudden events,rather than there existsa process of accumulation slowly changes from quantitative to qualitative which is difficult todetect. If the running state of dams was analyzed through the effective deformationobservation means in time. We must have been able to find the hidden trouble early andeliminated accidents before then.It is an important means to analyze the deformation observation material to mastery theworking state of dams,the safety of dams also can be judged according to the deformationobservation material. Actually there are many influences of dams which are complex. Theinfluence of the dams caused by various factors indescribable exactly with quantitativerelationship,and each dam has its own character. Therefore,How to analysis the deformationdate timely、reasonable and precisely according to the actual situation was the problem tosolve urgently in the field of safely monitoring of the dams.The paper first elaborated the basic theory and basic methods that applied to the dateanalysis with Statistic Model、Deterministic Model and Hybrid Model. And then carriedcomprehensive analysis and research on the tense wire monitoring data、Vertical displacementmonitoring data、Normal line and the vertical monitoring data and the Quantity of theenvironment consist of the water level of Upstream and downstream、air temperature andwater temperature of reservoir etc. The study has carried deeply discuss for the reason whyextreme value appear from each monitor volume. Finally,according to the measured data thestudy has established the Statistic Model of Deformation Observation、Deterministic Modeland BP Neural Network. The main research contents of three model were stated as follows:1. The study analyzed the basic principles and methods for the establishment ofconcrete gravity dam deformation monitoring statistical model with the measured data. Andanalyzed the deformation causes and variation of the Wujin Gap Concrete Gravity Dam withthe model.2. Explored the basic theory to calculate the dam water pressure displacementcomponents and temperature displacement components using the finite element analysissoftware of ANSYS, and analyzed the basic methods to general the dam body structure andthe geological model of the dam foundation. 3. Combining the structure conditions of the dam and its foundation and using thecalculation results by the finite element analysis software of ANSYS to obtain the expressionof water pressure displacement components and temperature displacement components, andestablished the deformation monitoring deterministic model of Wujin Gap concrete gravitydam eventually.4. Analyzed the main reason why horizontal displacement changed and howdisplacement components of Water pressure, temperature, timeliness changed on ConcreteGravity Dam according to Statistic Model and Deterministic Model.5. Discussed the structure, mathematical description, and details of analysis steps of BPNeural Network. Summarized problems accrued in BP Neural Network, and give someadvices to promote.6. Applying the improving BP Neural Network, the BP Neural Network of the horizontaldisplacement deformation model of Wujin Gorge Concrete Gravity Dam has been built,,whichis based on the statistic model and deterministic model.7. The training sample of Neural Network is calculated by the finite element analysissoftware ANSYS, then inverse the elastic modulus of the dam body and dam foundation withthe improving BP Neural Network and evaluate the feasibility of the method in practicalapplication.
