During the process of transportation and circulation, many products could be damagedfor the unreasonable package caused by deviation in package design or the underestimation oftransport environment, which will cause a great loss of money or environment pollution.Considering the package design and transport environment is particularly important duringtransportation and circulation in the northwest territories for special environment. The reasonfor damage of package and products are impact and vibration, influenced by the railwaycondition, train and the weight, which are combined together to generate the random vibration.Thus it is quite important to measure the railway running condition and simulate the runningenvironment, which will offer valuable advices for product package for avoiding waste andloss in railway transportation.The paper mainly study the simulation and measurement skill of the vibrationenvironment. which includes the following work:Firstly, it demonstrates the railway running environment in northwest China, includingthe vibration, impact and the geographical factors, collecting the data that influences thegoods transportation safety such as vibration, impact, temperature and etc by the runningenvironment recorder of Lansmont Company.Secondly, it illustrates the vibration and impact in the railway transportation process bytesting the railway running environment and analyzing the factors of the railway unevenness,especially in the process of connecting the coaches. It proved that the railway transportationenvironment possesses the super-Gaussian features by fitting curves with matlab andcontrasting the curve among different standards of transportation in various transportationsystems, which offers theoretical basis for study of this aspect.Thirdly, the paper adopts a new method—quadratic phase modulation to take a furtherresearch on super-Gaussian in railway transportation. The quadratic phase modulation wasused to simulate the power,camber and kurtosis in railway vibration signal, attaining thesimilar signal diagram of the real running environment with the matlab programming.The study modulates the vibration of present scene in laboratory environment. This willprovide some theoretical guidelines in product package design and vibration experiment,offering some more convincing basis for analysis of the strength and longevity of the productpackage, which makes people know more about the railway condition in the northwest ofChina.
