In recent years, many developed countries made a breakthrough achievement in the road and bridge construction, the construction of the bridge developed towards large and soft. With the rapid development of science, especially the train several times faster, the number of the bridge construction increasing very fast, bridges is playing an increasingly important role in human development and scientific progress. Bridges can speed up the rhythm of people’s life and solve many traffic problems. Till now, many of the domestic bridge health monitoring still remain at the stage of manual monitoring, its limitations are strong:not comprehensive, not timely, subjective consciousness accounted for more than major and unable to reflect the reality. Summarize in recent years, many large bridge collapse accident causes many people’s property damage and mental damage, people gradually pay close attention to the security and durability of the bridge. The bridge should have longer life, but unexpected collapsed occur in a short period of time, many bridges facing a huge security crisis at present. In order to protect people’s lives and property safety, real-time bridge monitoring and effective assessment are very necessary.Through high-tech detection technology, real-time acquiring the data of bridge, and using the powerful data analysis system, the data can be processed comprehensively, then showing the form of chart, curve intuitively, it can provide accurate and effective basis for maintenance and closing of the bridge. The real-time monitoring and assessment of the bridge will be the future development trend in the field of bridge.Bridge health monitoring system usually consists of the data acquisition system and the safety evaluation system. The data acquisition system is the key to the whole system, and also the foundation of the whole system, only guaranteeing the reliability of the data acquisition system can proceed with the back of the other aspects of content.Based on large bridges, in view of the situation of some bridge in Tianjin, the thesis put forward the overall hardware of Bridges and software solutions with detailed design.The main work includes:1. A set of feasible design scheme is put forward. Components and subsystems of bridge health monitoring system and the main function of composition have carried on the comprehensive analysis.2. According to current situation of bridge, analyze the basic structure of the hardware and the main function of each part in detail, and put forward the bridge finite element model.3. A real-time data acquisition, storage, and calculation software of data acquisition system have been developed and applied it to the bridge.4. Clever use of the switching functions of optical switch achieves making full use of the data acquisition device.Bridge health monitoring system is the need of the development of the future, install the monitoring system in a large bridge is very necessary. Through the bridge health monitoring system, grasp the bridge structure damage accumulation and degradation of safety condition in time, it is a great practical significance for bridge structure monitoring and maintenance of scientific decision-making to guarantee the safe operation of the bridge.
