With the development of science and technology, the use of electro-hydraulic control system on hydraulic support makes it possible that the high-yielding and efficient of the working face, and promotes the rapid development of mechatronics on the coal mining field. In addition, as the core device of the hydraulic control system, the solenoid pilot valve has laid the foundation to enhance the efficiency for coal mining. However, intrinsically safe solenoid pilot valve solenoid is more important.It’s more complicated to design an electromagnet with optimized structure and superior performance, because of the complexity of the magnetic circuit, the constant change of magnetic field and temperature field and the nonlinearity factor of magnetic material except the simple structure.At present, China’s mine electromagnet rely more on imports, which increases the cost of repair and maintenance cycle. And the design of mine electromagnet is far less then the proportional solenoid. As a result, design and simulation of a suitable electromagnet mine has a role in promoting the localization of mine electromagnet.In this paper, with the theory of the electromagnetic field and electromagnet and the existing solenoid design method, the DC solenoids size is calculated and checked by the equivalent magnetic circuit method under the analysis of the conditions of the working conditions. Since a lot of data are selected in accordance with the empirical parameters in the early calculation, its performance can not be guaranteed. So the parameterized analysis of the critical dimensions in the early count with the Ansoft Maxwell software is used, and the curves of working air gap and electromagnetic force are drawn with different sizes.Then two-dimensional static and dynamic simulation and analysis of the optimized size parameters are done with the Ansoft Maxwell software, so is the temperature field with ANSYS software. As a result, the performance of the optimize electromagnet has been greatly improved.In addition, the paper also carried out the three-dimensional static and dynamic simulation and analysis, because the Ansoft Maxwell software is also easy to analysis the field map particularly on known path, working air gap is particularly set to the path analysis which ensures the features of the electromagnetic suction of almost constant. Each performance of electromagnets has improved after checking. This paper is designed a structural optimization and good performance intrinsically safe solenoid according to the conditions, which provides a theoretical basis for the design of other types of solenoid and promotes the rapid development of the electromagnets and solenoid valve.
