With current condition of water use more and more serious, the large-scale aqueduct is widely used in water diversion project. Water Diversion Project (Centre Route) has as much as40large aqueducts, structure is large and water flow is big. And mostly are located in the seismic intensity of7degrees or above. Once the aqueduct structure is damaged by earthquake, it will likely cause huge losses. Therefore, Study on seismic problem of large aqueduct and safe, economical and reliable isolation and mitigation measures to effectively mitigate the impact of the earthquake disaster, ensure the seismic safety of aqueduct under seismic action has important practical significance. As for aqueducts, there are no clear provisions of the seismic design of the aqueduct at home. The purpose of large aqueduct seismic research is to take effective measures to reduce the aqueduct structure under the earthquake’s destruction.According to a water diversion project——open-spandrel arch aqueduct design from the flood network construction project in Shanxi Province. There is great interaction between aqueduct and arch, of which the space mechanical properties is complex. So adopting the classic method to solve structural mechanics can not get accurate stress distribution law. Static and dynamic characteristics of its vibration modes of the whole structure of the finite element analysis to determine the vibration frequency and vibration patterns, using the response spectrum modal superposition principle, the use of the aqueduct structure solving aqueduct structure seismic internal force response for engineering. The seismic reinforcement checking internal forces design basis. This paper does a three-dimensional finite element study of the overall seismic analysis, mainly to complete the following work1. Using ANSYS finite element software, to establish the overall dynamic finite element analysis model of the lower deck arch aqueduct, which can take full account of the structure of space force. The results of the solution of practical engineering problems are of practical reference value, and have an active effect on the development of the study of the related theory.2.1n dynamic analysis, one gets the vibration shape of the model and its frequency by the modal analysis, which is not only an important parameter in the design of structures subjected to dynamic load structure as well as the starting point for the kinetic analysis. And we can see its impact on the structure, which provides a reference for the seismic design of the structure.3. Through the vibration mode decomposition response spectrum theory, one can determine the structure of the static, dynamic stress and the displacement characteristics. By analysis and comparison, it can be set in the middle of the structure in the middle of the vault, pull rod and tank body across the larger structure, and easy to damage. Especially in cross slot, it shall be reinforced to ensure the security and stability.
