With the continuous enrichment of material life,modern things continue to impact people,including buildings.We have a higher demand for contemporary architecture,whether it is functional requirements or appearance.Thus,more irregular,complex structure of the building in front of people.However,anything has two sides,and when the functional requirements of the building are diversified and the appearance of the building is new,it makes the building more complicated.The more complex the structure of the building,the greater the probability of earthquake damage,when the occurrence of earthquake disasters,the greater the degree of casualties and economic losses.In other words,for the irregular buildings of the seismic and stability of the study,has been a hot topic of today's building masters.This article chooses a L-shaped irregular middle school comprehensive building in Bengbu as the object of study,and finally makes a reasonable analysis and research model through repeated simulations.Based on the modal decomposition response spectrum method,three suitable seismic waves are selected based on the relevant specifications.Two of them are natural waves,one is artificial wave.Through the force and deformation study to determine the seismic performance of the structure.The main research process of this paper is as follows:(1)Using PKPM analysis software,the vibration spectrum decomposition response spectrum analysis,that is CQC method;(2)Using PKPM analysis software,three seismic waves are selected according to the corresponding specifications,two of which are natural waves,one is artificial wave,elastic time history analysis under earthquake wave,and the elastic analysis of structures under small earthquakes are all to meet the regulatory requirements to ensure that the structure of "small earthquake is not bad" fortification standards;(3)Using PKPM analysis software to analyze and calculate,at the same time,it is shown that the overall performance of the structure satisfies the fortification level of the large earthquake,and the performance of the component satisfies the "strong column and weak beam" Design to form a "strong wall limbs,weak beam" expected damage mechanism;Based on the analysis results,it can be concluded that although the irregular buildings are more susceptible to earthquake damage,we can strengthen the load carrying capacity and the bearing capacity under the action of seismic waves of irregular buildings through some reasonable earthquake resistance strengthening measures.To achieve "Small earthquake is not bad","Can be repaired in the earthquake","Great earthquake does not fall" of the code for seismic design of buildings.
