As the rapid development of science and technology, automobile exhaustive pollution has become the main source of pollution of city environment, though it has brought us convenience. How to reduce the automobile exhaust is a great challenge to the automobile industry. The main poisonous substances in the exhaust are NOx, HC, CO and some dust particicles. Oxygen-enriched combustion, which an effective means to save energy, can effectively reduce the emission of HC and CO, improve the temperature in the cylinder, and enhance the combustion efficiency. Oxygen-enriched combustion is an effective way to solve this problem. The paper searches and explores the engine Oxygen-enriched Intake control system on the basis of FPGA technology. As the development of EDA, FPGA technology has been widely used in the invention of new productions. Compared with traditional general processor, FPGA has made much progress with improved performance and anti-interference ability. The experiment in this paper uses the Cyclone EP1C12Q240C8N chip made by Altera Company, adopts top-down method by using VHDL language and FPGA modules, tests and verifies every modules by using the simulation function of Quartus Ⅱ. The results show that the designed modules can reach the expectation. Through the performance analysis and debugging of the fuzzy controller through Simulink in Matlab, adoption of fast look-up method, we can realize F-PID fuzzy control based on FPGA.Through the analysis of the gas distribution requirement of the in-take system, we can use F-PID fuzzy control to solve the problem. F-PID fuzzy control not only combines the quality of fast response, good robustness of traditional fuzzy control, but also eliminates the blind area, and improves the static response of traditional one through introducing PID control.
