In the safety accident death toll in China, highway traffic is the highest number of deaths in the field, is15times as big as coal mine deaths. In addition, compared to the foreign traffic deaths, traffic accidents in China killed in absolute value is thirteen point four times of Japan and eighteen point four times of Germany. The more developed countries of road safety in China is still a certain gap, therefore improve the quality of road safety facilities, ensure the running safety of vehicles, is the priority among priorities in our country road traffic development.Guardrail, as the main protection tools on the freeway, by all countries of the world’s attention, its protective capability determines the road safety level, is an important index of vehicle driving safety. Therefore, the development of a higher level of security guard has become the focus of our study. However, traditional research general vehicle guardrail entity based on collision, the high cost, long cycle, and using the method of computer simulation becomes the mainstream of guardrail research.Research based on the domestic and international research status and development trend of the guardrail, drawing on the United States and Europe at present advanced highway guardrail products and theoretical research results, combined with the actual situation of our country highway, developed a new and more efficient, secure guardrail of highway, and the method of computer policy on the fence and safety protection effect verified, the specific contents are as follows:First of all, through the classification of the guardrail, layout, design condition and principle of research, based on the central isolation belt is narrow, the vehicle features faster, preliminary determine the guardrail structure for double W highway guardrail, and according to the national standard of determining the guardrail structure size of the map, and the establishment of Pro/E model.Secondly, through the ANSYS and Pro/E interface will fence model into ANSYS Workbench, a guardrail finite element model, and combining with the boundary conditions determine the guardrail, impact angle, impact velocity evaluation of highway safety performance standards in China, and the effect of the collision theory of the finite element analysis on the guardrail, different collision of the vehicle barrier protection effect.Finally, through the simulation results, to optimize the design of the guardrail structure. According to the research on the optimization of guardrail block structure theory to block, and by kinetic method to verify the new design prevention block structure display, finally get a better defense snagging, capacity, energy absorption block structure and prevention effect is stronger, to achieve the optimization of barrier safety objective.
