With the rapid development of China’s construction and expanding of construction scale unceasingly, the mass concrete structure has been widely used in the field of Civil Engineering. However, in the construction process of mass concrete structure, the hydration heat problem has been concerned by engineering circles.After the large volume concrete was poured, very much heat was produced in the mass concrete structure because of the heat of hydration. However after the heat was generated, the temperature of the inside of structure was rise faster, some even can reach above50degrees. Because the concrete’s thermal property is very poor and the size of the large volume concrete structure is very large, there will be a great temperature gradient and thermal stress inside and outside of the large volume concrete. It is easy to produce cracks in this situation which will seriously affect the safety、beautiful appearance、anti permeability and durability etc of the structure because of the cracks. So the research on the heat of hydration of mass concrete has been paid close attention by the engineering circles. For the study of mass concrete structure is less in industrial and civil construction、bridge engineering which is more in the field of hydraulic structures in contrast. With the modernization of the continuous structure, more and more large volume concrete is used on the s-tructure, so the theoretical study on the structure of the temperature field and temperature stress also appears more urgent and needed.Along with the computer technology and the application of the rapid development, the improvement of the finite element analysis method in engineering are getting more and more widely. So we can use the finite element method object-oriented design practical program, facilitate solving temperature field and stress field of the structure of the influence. In this paper, first,I have a general understanding of research on the topic of both domestic and foreign through studying of the relevant data and documents; then deduce the finite element formulation of large volume concrete hydration heat temperaturefield and stress field on the basis of the first;next through writing large volume concrete hydration heat program,which is used3D-20node element to simulation of concrete and Three-dimensional truss element to simulation of rebar to analysis of temperature field and stress field problems in mass concrete hydration heat.In the end contrasting the result of program and ABAQUS through establishing finite element model in ABAQUS which confirm the validity of the program. This program can calculate thetemperature field and stress field problem of concrete and reinforced concrete separately. Becanse the large volume concrete structure has a large size of section and short of steel bar, so now the research about the large volume of concrete rarely consider the role of steel bar.But this is inaccurate,this paper consider the effect of reinforcement on the mass concrete temperature field fully.By contrast with ABSQUS which is called prof-essional software,it has confirmed the correctness and feasibility of the method by this article.
