Asphalt pavement is the most pavement structures widely at home and abroad atpresent, fatigue and permanent deformation is the more serious of the two diseases. Theclimatic characteristics of hot and humid are more common in the south of China,therefore, this text research on fatigue properties and permanent deformationperformance of asphalt pavement in hot and humid conditions. Based on the survey ofthe domestic and international research, through laboratory tests. theoretical analysisand model calculation of asphalt pavement in the hot and humid region researchdurability variation of it. Though calculating fatigue life and permanent deformationlimit value of asphalt pavement under different axle load and different temperaturerange to provide a basis for pavement management and decision optimization. Themain research results are as follows:(1) Based on the analysis and research on the mechanism of damage of asphaltpavement in water environment, one freeze-thaw cycle is determined to simulate thedamage of asphalt pavement under water environment.(2) Through the derivation of modified Burgers model, obtained viscoelasticmechanical model of asphalt mixture under repeated load creep tests. Using1stOptfitting experimental data of the permanent deformation and loading times to parameterof the model.(3) Through surveying meteorological elements and axle load of the hot andhumid areas, obtained axle load and the internal temperature distribution of asphaltpavement. Deviatoric stress and the maximum tensile strain are analyzed by ANSYSsoftware.(4) Method was established for predicting the fatigue life of Asphalt Pavement bythe Manner theorem. Taking the Hanzhoung section of Shiyan-Tianshui highway asexample, the different load caused by the strain in pavement structure layers arecalculated. Given the pavement material properties under cycles and not freeze-thaw inindirect tensile test. Finally, prediction model of Shiyan-Tianshui highway areestablished, which can more accurately predict the fatigue life of asphalt concretepavement is8.56/year in Freeze-thaw and12.12/year in not freeze-thaw.(5) A new method of the remaining life prediction and service performance ofasphalt pavement is proposed. Taking the Hanzhoung section of Shiyan-Tianshuihighway as example, the different load caused by the partial stressed in pavement structure layers are calculated. Given the pavement material properties under differenttest conditions in the triaxial repeated load. Finally, the remaining life prediction modelof Shiyan-Tianshui highway are established, which can more accurately predict theremaining service life of asphalt concrete pavement and provide the basis for thescientific pavement management and decision.
