Fatigue damage and permanent deformation of asphalt mixture are the most importantand damaging two types of damage of asphalt pavement. They directly influence thepavement life and quality, especially in the high temperature and rainy region where areserious fatigue damage and rutting. In this paper, it is focused on durability of asphaltpavement structure and material according to climate characteristics of high temperatureand rainy region. This process is done by the test on fatigue damage and permanentdeformation with theoretical analysis and laboratory test. For ATB-30conduct thesplitting fatigue test in different temperature of water-warm condition. Then we conductthe triaxial repeated loading creep test for SMA-13, AC-20, ATB-30, finding out theresult of permanent deformation rule and providing a basis for forecast of pavement.Main research results are as follows:①Analysis the asphalt pavement fatigue damage mechanism in aqueousenvironment, determine to complete a freeze-thaw cycle to simulate the asphaltpavement is affected by water.②Conduct splitting fatigue test on ATB-30with aqueous and anhydrous conditionat two temperatures, figuring out the fatigue properties in water-warm conditions andfatigue equation at different temperature of stress-strain.③Based on the modified Burgers model, the viscoelastic constructive model ofasphalt mixture is established, which can reflect the effect of repeated vehicles loading.Fitting the experimental data of permanent deformation and the load by1stopt softwareobtained the asphalt mixture mechanical model of viscoelastic rheological parameters.④Triaxial repeated load test on asphalt mixture SMA-13, AC-20, ATB-30indifferent temperature and partial stress. Through data interpolation and fitting, obtainedat different temperatures,"the number of cycles-partial stress-the amount ofpermanent deformation,"three-dimensional surface. The permanent deformationpredictions under lack of experimental data are achieved.
