With an increasing number of China’s automobile production in China, carparcanrove and the low efficiency of vehicle fuel economy situation, vehicle fuel economybecomes a key task for energy saving and emission policy for transportation industrydue to the large portion of energy consumption.For a large number of commercial vehicles, it is almost impossible to do the fuelconsumption detection due to the equipment and the site conditions. The work is timeand labor consuming if accorded with the new product entry when the LaboratoryDrum method or field method are used. Therefore, to search for a convenient, accurate,low cost for comprehensive performance of ordinary car fuel consumption test stationfor testing system is of great importance of establishment of index system in theconsumption of vehicle fuel. In this paper, basing on the simplified loaded mode, thedevelopment of carbon balance for the fuel consumption of the straight type detectionsystem is used to the concentration of carbon measurement of automobile exhaust flowand exhaust to realize the measurement of automobile and engine non-disassembly fuelconsumption.This paper focuses on the key issues of fuel consumption measurement system basedon the carbon balance method of exhaust the direct sourcing fuel consumptionmeasurement in flow sensor selection, the best layout of the exhaust acquisition testpipe and fuel consumption measurement model.Means of computer simulation analysisis used to do it. Large CFD analysis software Fluent are used to analyze three differentflow rate sensor of the type of the gas flow field in the pipeline changes and the threeexhaust acquisition test pipe layout scheme and to identify the smallest change as thebest layout to determine the layout of the program by changing the minimumtemperature field on the gas pipeline then to provides a basis for the selection andtesting of the flow sensor test system piping layout.The use of mathematical analysis methods is to establish a more accuratemathematical model based on the fuel consumption of the carbon balance method andcorresponding algorithm. Selection of four typical commercial vehicle models oilconsumption meter and the carbon balance method the exhaust direct sourcing fuelconsumption measurement method comparison test are used to verify the correctnessand practicability of the model and algorithms. This article will solve the problems based on carbon balance method to determinethe straight flow sensor selection type fuel consumption measurement and the relatedproblems to establish the measurement models of fuel consumption measuring systemin vehicle production costs and production cycle in order to cope with the carconsumption of supervision work and promote and implement the nationalenergy-saving emission reduction policies.
