Self-anchored suspension bridge is to retain the self-anchored suspension bridgelinear and well-proportioned beautiful appearance, and is not limited by geographicalconditions, with its force structure is reasonable, good economic performance, theadvantages of strong adaptability of topographic and geological conditions, become cityof small and medium span bridge very competitive bridge types, widely used. In thispaper, the time history analysis method and traveling wave effect, research work andconclusions are as follows.①Discusses the four methods of self-anchored suspension bridge seismic theory:static method, the random vibration method, response spectrum method, time-historyanalysis method. The time history analysis method of high precision, fast, so this paperadopts the method of history analysis.②The finite element model using the finite element software ABAQUS to establishthe peach blossom valley of self-anchored suspension bridge, the unit of selectionprinciple and modeling process.③Using the dynamic analysis method, studies the Long-span Self-anchoredSuspension Bridge in the dynamic response analysis under seismic action, have verticaland horizontal seismic load, displacement, suspension bridge the typical position ofacceleration, force, variation of bending moment.④Using three groups of seismic wave of self-anchored suspension bridge travelingwave effect, discusses the traveling wave effect on response of self-anchored suspensionbridge seismic traveling wave effect, indicated by the larger of self-anchored suspensionbridge.
