As the development of city bridge is changing to beautiful and long,the construction of self-anchored suspension bridge is more and more.To study on structure mechanics behavior and performance of this bridge structure is becoming hot point;And in china,the frequency of earthquake is higher.The loss of erathquake disaster occupy a high ration constrast to other nature disasters.Therefore study on seismic responses and shock absorption has project very important project significance.In this paper,the basic theory of seismic analysis is mentioned first of all;The significance of ductile seismic responses and control of bridge damper is discussed.To Yellow River Road Bridge that mian bridge is self-anchored suspension bridge as an project example, Constructing finite element modeland dynamic analysis,getting its dynamic characteristics, and on the basis of which analyzing E1 seismic responses time-history.Explaining artificial wave and selection of wave.In order to ensure no damage to the structure,the structure of the resistance must be designed to be greater than expected strength of the earthquake.This approach is to rely solely on the strength;in a very small probability of occurrence of the rare earthquake the method will undoubtedly cause a huge waste of materials,neither economic nor practical.This paper introduces the ductile seismic analysis of the process and methods;and introducing two important ductile factors of the curvature ductility factor and the displacement ductility factor, as well as the relationships between them.In the rare earthquake,the ductile seismic response analysis of self-anchored suspension bridge is performed.Use of the characteristic of confined concrete and relation of reinforced stress and strain to analyse the relation section curvature and the bending moment of reinforced concrete structure in order to determine relation of the load and displacement of the plastic hinge.Simulating plastic hinge and establishng ductile model of Yellow River Road Bridge,studying ductile seismic response in rare earthquake and comparing the result with result of elasticity model.And calculating curvature ductility and displacement of the mian tower of Yellow River Road Bridge.The metal has a good hysteresis into the plastic,and can absorb a lot of energy in process of elastic and plastic deformation without external energy,and can adap to slow deformation of temperature as well as creep and so on.So metal is widely used to produce different types of the energy shock absorber.In the paper,studing dissipation characteristics and principles of metal damper as well as restoring force model of metal damper.Two longitudinal metal dampers are simulated at beam of jtmction of tower and beam of Yellow River Road Bridge,a total of four full-bridge,on the basis of which dissipation of metal damper and preliminary design are researched.
