At present, gearboxes are faced with the problems of high failure rate, vibration noise, short service life. Gear modification has an effective in reducing vibration and noise, extending life which has been proven by practical experience at home and abroad for many years, therefore, studying gear modification of high-power wind gearbox is very important. The thesis main use the2.5MW gearbox as the research object, and simulate the performance of2.5MW gearbox. The thesis research gear modification of the parallel gears of2.5MW gearbox in order to obtain the method and parameter of modification of2.5MW gearbox. The main research work of this thesis are as follows:(1) To analysis the principle of profile modification and lead modification. Due to the high-power MW wind gearbox are running under the bad environment, the load is very unstable, a single modification method does not work efficiently, comprehensive all kinds of modification methods are put forward and adopted which can more effectively reduce the fault rate.(2) The modeling of2.5MW gearbox are creacted by using CAE and Romax WIND software.(3) To simulate the static analysis of the gearbox through the Romax WIND software under the equivalent loads. According to the stress on the gear shaft, deformation of that, the load distribution on the tooth surface of gear and transmission error, etc. And the length, quality and curve of modification of the high-speed and medium-speed was determined in the end.(4) As wind gearbox are running under alternating load,to simulate the modification gearbox that is operated by Romax WIND software in the specific load, which can demonstrate the rationality of modification parameters. And the change of security strength of gear tooth are discussed.(5) Simulation of high-speed and medium-speed gear pairs gear modification according to mapping data, compared with the modification effect between the actual modification and the modification from the thesis. And analysis reasons for different results. Finally, the gear dynamic incentive theory are stated and the dynamic performance index are analyzed.
