Theresearch suggests that the reconstruction should focus on the ecologic civilization, and take thelocal water conservancy and other departments’ advices. With the ensurrance of ability toprevent flood, the final scheme need focus on the relationship between citizens and waterfront.Being guided by relevant laws and regulations, finishing the scheme should weigh modernhydraulic engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture, ecological management andother aspects, and get the riverside landscape improve to be a better place which is easy to feelthe charming local culture and natural resources, convenient for gatherings and leisureactivities to citizens, and closely related to the city patterns by the five most importantinitiatives, including provide more horizontal and vertical space for leisure activities,reconstruct revetment to be ecological in separate section of the river, improve the riparianplant community, promote pedestrian system conditions and nightscape, and build landscapefurnitures with regional culture. The research on this scheme aims to provide practical ideas forwaterfront landscape reconstruction design in other similar cites as well.
