The river is the ecological link of the city,and its waterfront environment is an important part of the urban landscape.Because of its unique hydrophilicity,ecology and openness,and can show the overall style of the city,the waterfront has gradually become a city Developing hot spots.In the process of urban development,many problems also appeared in the waterfront area,such as serious river bank canalization,ecological environment destruction,insufficient landscape,lack of open space,and the inability to pass on historical and cultural heritage,etc.The city and the river channel "symbiosis" It has become an urgent problem in future urban development.Based on the relationship between "city and river",the thesis deeply analyzes the significance of modern waterfront landscape for urban development.It follows the design principles of integrity,ecology,economy and cultural heritage protection,and analyzes the city itself from the perspective of landscape design.The needs of the river environment.Guided by the symbiosis point of view,using theoretical foundations such as landscape ecology and behavioral geography,and drawing lessons from outstanding cases,it is proposed that urban waterfront zonal landscapes should adopt a design method that combines ecological and human landscapes to integrate the "city river".The symbiosis concept is integrated into the design.Give priority to restoring the water ecological function of the river,combining with the historical and humanities of Pingyu County to create a very vibrant urban green core,that is,formulating a set of targeted projects from two aspects: water ecological restoration at the river level and humanlandscape design at the city level.Design Strategy.Through the study of the above-mentioned theories,taking the waterfront landscape on both sides of the Xiaoqing River in Pingyu County,South Henan Province as an example,comprehensively analyze its natural environment,humanities and customs,historical context,and site conditions,and carry out practical applications in an attempt to apply the research.The results are applied to the southern Henan region,and the idea of constructing an urban ecological and cultural landscape belt in the river basin of southern Henan is proposed,so as to awaken the memory of the city,enhance the overall image of the city,and promote the symbiotic development of the relationship between the city and the river.It is hoped that the results obtained will provide reference ideas and methods for the design of the same type of waterfront landscape in southern Henan in the future.
