At present, all most household water meter in our country is Mechanicalrotor-type, but this kind water meter has fast wearing and low precision. With thedevelopment of society, more and more people promote environmental protectionof life. In order to accord with the idea of saving water, a sort of flow meter for thehousehold water measurement based on ultrasonic technology is designed. At thesame time in order to avoid the traditional ultrasonic flow measurement, externalfactors such as temperature, influence of pipeline pressure on the measurementaccuracy, neural network also be joined in the compensation system of ultrasonicflow measurement. The measuring accuracy is higher than that of the traditionalmechanical water meter and ultrasonic meter the traditional, but also has theadvantages of simple operation and low cost.In this paper, the transit-time-different method is adopted to measure the waterflow. The emitter-receiver dual-use piezo-ceramics frequency transducer is selectedas the flow measurement sensor. In order to get good ultrasonic signals, theultrasonic transducer driver module and the signal processing module are designed.Also uses the zero-crossing detection method, the time-counting module circuitwhose function is high precision. As for the software part, the system software ismainly the realization of processing and display data etc., which applied to the neuralnetwork set up process of flow measurement, susceptible to external factors such astemperature, compensation system error caused by the pipeline pressure, so thatmeasurement accuracy of the whole device is more accurate. This technology is amajor characteristic of this design, which maxes with computer software technologyand common measuring instrument technology. To realize high precision andintelligent device, and laid the foundation for the practical application of highprecision ultrasonic flow meter.
