This article use the gypsum as main gelled material, slag and steel slag as aggregate, combined withcotton straw fiber, sulphur aluminate cement, lime and other materials, and through the method with addingadditive modification, to improve it’s physical and mechanical performance, created the composite blockwhich conform to the requirements of the "gypsum block"(JC/T698-2010)specification. This articleanalyzes the proportion of raw materials and the admixture dosage to the main physical and mechanicalproperties of block, and studied the gypsum, slag, steel slag. cotton straw fiber and additive influence thephysical and mechanical properties of composite gypsum block by experiment, in order to get the bestmixture ratio, and provide a reference basis for gypsum-based cotton straw, slag and steel slag compositeblock. This article is mainly worked on the following aspects:1) Do the experimental research on gypsum respectively with slag, steel slag and slag, steel slag mixturein the mixing proportion;2) Do the experiment research on fixed in gypsum, slag and steel slag content is constant, respectively, sulfur, aluminum cotton straw fiber cement, lime, experimental study on the design of the cotton stalk fiber, cement, lime together with cases of three factors three levels experiment;3) Through the methord of adding retarder, water reducing agent, waterproofing agent into block, andstudy the effect of admixture on physical and mechanical properties of gypsum, to determine the initialcontent of suitable scope, and admixture of three factors three levels experiment, the optimum content ofadmixture respectively;4) Based on the block which has been made in laboratory, probes into the new block model. The results of the experimental study show that, the gypsum of cotton stalks, slag and steel slagcomposite gypsum block can use the industrial waste and agricultural waste-cotton stalks, and can be usedas an industrial, agricultural, construction of retaining wall materials and widely used.
