As the hydraulic technology are more and more widely used in many fields of national economy and social life, radial plunger motor has become increasingly important, meanwhile,the port plate pair is one of the most important pairs in radial plunger motor. High-performance and high reliability are the most important in the design of flow distributor, because they both influence the efficency of the hydraulic motor. So researching for port plate is significant to design excellent radial plunger motor which have high pressure, high rotating speed and high flow characteristics.Because of the quite complex structure of the flow distributor, it is indispensable to recearch for the flow characteristics based on the software of CFD.The motor used in this paper is producted in one factory which have cooperation with the school.The structure and parameter are used in practice which measured from the real production.The subject relies on the advantages of the CFD technology, which using engineering fluid mechanics software FLUENT6.3as the main tool. The internal flow field of flow distributor is researched, and the ways and means to improve the fan efficiency are explored. The main work done in this paper are as follows:1. The current research situation and development direction of radial plunger motor at home and abroad are introduced. The flow equations and turbulence equations of the internal flow in the hydraulic motor are deduced and the methods to dispose the near-wall region and the discrete method of basic equations are described;2. According to the assumptions of the radial plunger motor, establish the geometric model and grid model and solution parameters are setted;3. According to the design condition, internal flow field of the flow distributor is built, and the internal flow characteristics are analyzed;4. This paper use the technology of the moving mesh and sliding mesh to analyze the flow characteristics of flow distributor with one piston.The flow pulse around both the inlet and oulet can be caculated., and also the pulse of the leakage of the port plate pair can be seen;5. The relationship between the leakage and the thicknessof the oil film and pressure of the inlet can be got by building the mathematic model of the leakage.The mathematic model can be used to optimize the structure of the port plate.
