Microcoulometry is a method to detect the contents of elements of petroleum, chemical products and other organic or inorganic compounds of sulfur, chlorine, nitrogen, which is characterized by high sensitivity, high precision, fast response and strong anti-jamming capability. With the continuous development of science and technology, domestic use of micro-coulomb analyzers are becoming more and more widely, but the existing micro-coulomb analyzer is mainly controlled by single chip microcomputer, the operation of titration process is relying on the PC to complete, each micro-coulomb analyzer needs to be equipped with a PC machine.Based on this, it is particularly necessary to research and design of a high precision, small size, easy to operate and cost-effective micro-coulomb analyzer system.In view of the existing micro-coulomb analyzer in volume and reliability problem, embedded micro-coulomb analyzer’s hardware and software system was designed.Using the basic architecture of ARM11Embedded microcontroller processor and Windows Embedded CE6.0operating system, choosing ARM11microprocessor as the micro-coulomb analyzer’s core processor, which has a strong ability in data processing. Software operating platform is provided for micro-coulomb analyzer by transplanting and customing real-time embedded Windows Embedded CE6.0operating system.The design consists of host control, injector, agitator, temperature and flow controller, cracking furnace, electrolytic cell and PC interface. Hardware design includes data acquisition circuit, coulomb amplifier, integrator circuit, back pressure detecting circuit, ingectioncircuit, mass flow control circuit and main control circuit. Real-time acquisition, integration starting point and end point determination, calculation of peak-shaped area, drawing the titration curve, analysis of the content of the sample and human-computer interaction interface is achieved on the basis of transplanting Windows Embedded CE6.0embedded operating system.With experimental verification, the micro-coulomb analyzer achieves miniaturization, integration, with high precision, operation, etc. The contents of sulfur, chlorine, nitrogen, and elements in the solid, liquid, gas can be measured to satisfy the measuring demands of the petroleum chemical industry, metallurgy industry, food hyginene, environmental protection.
