The shaft is widely used for various machinery, auto and home appliance industry, such as belt conveyor roller, household appliances, motor shaft, and various kinds of machine. When the machine’s precision come up to IT6-IT5, we always adopt turning as the manufacturing method--grinding processing, since the production efficiency is low, the equipment investment is large, and the machining process will produce waste liquid, none inconvenient to green manufacturing. The traditional cold drawing process in the production of transmission method, otherwise the low dimensional precision and the poor dimension stability, also can’t meet the quality requirements of high precision transmission shaft. High precision cold drawing technology is the optimization, improvement and technical innovation of traditional cold drawing process. This topic research is based on the cold drawing before pickling process and lubrication process parameter optimization, numerical simulation on cold drawing process, the matching analysis of cold drawing mold structure and size, so as to realize precision cold drawing requirements, allows the drive shaft to direct bearing assembly use.This article mainly from two aspects to conduct research:the pretreatment technology before cold drawing and the cold drawing process simulation analysis. Firstly, for example, we usually choose45steel as shaft material, through the orthogonal experiment method, conduct the comprehensive study of pretreatment before the cold drawing process, effectively improve the lubrication effect, this is the prerequisite of cold drawn precision. The experimental results show that good of45steel pickling effect the better process parameters combination for:17%sulfuric acid concentration, acid pickling temperature50℃, pickling time5s. After pickling can seriously influence the elongation, and reduction of area of the plastic material performance, we must prevent this condition happen;45steel can obtain good phosphate effect of the better process parameters combination for phosphate liquid PH2.0, phosphate temperature75℃, phosphate time to20min; Through the scanning electron microscope analysis, the results show that the medium temperature zinc series phosphate film on the surface of the45steel grain is like petals spreading around and mainly presents the rod structure, saponification membrane is a porous layer of cotton wool shape structure, grain accumulation tightening. Secondly, I use ANSYS Workbench software to simulation analysis and carry out the cold drawing process, respectively, under the cone mold and arc mold cold drawing the shaft forming process simulation, the analysis results show that the arc model in grid deformation, residual stress, cold drawing force and diameter precision molding is superior to the cone model, its theoretical data of mold structure optimization can offer design reference.
