The increasing seriousness of environmental pollution problems and the strictemission regulations in many countries forcing people work toward the lower emissions,higher efficiency and higher specific power of diesel engine. On the issue of the solutionto reduce diesel engine exhaust emissions, improve power performance and economy, thecritical way is to improve the combustion process. And the performance of the fuelinjection system plays a very important role in the combustion process. According to theactual working condition of the high pressure common rail system of diesel engine, wecan measure the required sensor values, then input these values into the ECU calculationand after processing, we can accurate and flexible control the fuel injection quantity,injection timing and fuel injection pressure and injection rate, also we can realize highpressure injection and injection. Comparing with traditional injection technology, it willfurther reduce the fuel consumption and exhaust emissions and enhance the dynamicperformance of a car.This article briefly elaborated the characteristics of diesel engine high pressurecommon rail system, electronic control injection technical requirements and developmenttrend at home and abroad, and expounds on the structure and working process of fuelinjector, fuel injector structure parameters on the effect of high pressure common railsystem. The experiment of0445110305type electronic control injector air gap thicknessand spring gasket to adjust shim thickness adjustment, and through the electronicKMA822continuous fuel quantity measuring system, the comprehensive performancetester for the FSA740engine, fuel injection pump test bench EPS815to test injectorperformance.Experimental results show that change of the air gap thickness of gasket D1and springadjusting shim D2has an effect on diesel engine high pressure common rail system’s fuelinjection, when the air gap pads D1Thickness change from1.10mm to1.06mm, springadjusting shim D2thickness change from1.44mm to1.30mm and1.0mm, by sprayingthe spray oil, oil volume, peak current and trigger current increases in response to thepoint, triggering moment in advance; And there is almost no change on the commonrail pressure, the benchmark current, pulse width, always keep the current in the end.
