With the rapid economic development and social change, electricity plays more and more important role in social production and people’s life, the user are increasing high requirements for power quality. Because the distribution power system is at the last stage, distribution and consumption of electric energy, directly face the user, so the reliability of distribution network not only with the user’s life and national security, stability are closely related, and to supply the economic benefits of the enterprise also has a great influence. At the same time, because of the deterioration of the environment and the depletion of fossil energy, distributed generation (DG)technology research has been more and more attention all over the world, the DG access to distribution network, not only can improve reliability of distribution network, but also the corresponding will bring some negative effects, therefore, distribution network reliability analysis and access DG distribution network reliability analysis,distribution network design, operation, transformation and distribution network is very important research topic.According to the problem of simulation method takes a long time to improve the accuracy of the calculation, and the shortages of analysis method with the system and the increase of computation is getting higher, the paper presents a new method to calculate the distribution system reliability GO methodology, this method is a success-oriented system reliability analysis method, timing, polymorphism, and reliability of complex systems analysis calculation.This article uses the GO methodology, was constructed to assess the reliability of the power distribution system of GO model.Using this model, the various operating modes for simple distribution network reliability analysis.Through analyzing complex distribution network structure, this paper puts forward a kind of the method of equivalent module simplifies the distribution method, gives the equivalent module method to calculate distribution network reliability index calculation method, the method of complex distribution network reliability index is calculated, achieved good calculation results, which verified the correctness and validity of the method.According to the distributed generation (DG) access point, access mode and the different mode of operation, distribution network is presented in this paper based on the study of the reliability of the GO method, containing DG is analyzed when the system the islands of the optimization model of operation, as well as the island of boundary search method, the obtained access to DG after the distribution network reliability calculation method, the calculation steps are presented. By means of access DG of feeder4of bus6of the IEEE RBTS(Reliability Test System), analyzes the influence of DG access to the reliability of distribution network.Finally, through the analysis of the contradiction between the reliability problem of economical operation of distribution network and system configuration of the switch, established a distribution network construction cost and operation cost to minimum, the system reliability and the distribution network voltage, current limit for the constrained optimization model, and through the PSO algorithm to solve the optimization problem, calculated by IEEE RBTS-Bus5system, which verifies the validity of the model of the proposed algorithm.
