This topic main research additive4BS (four alkali type lead sulfate) affect theperformance of lead-acid batteries, and provide guidance for lead-acid batteryperformance and production process improvements. Experiments using manual andcream coated plate, high temperature curing process of the preparation of the anodeplate. Experiments analysis of the positive active material and percentage of eachcomponent, powder morphology and particle size distribution of powder particles byX-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), laser particle sizedistribution of physical characterization methods. Through the battery charge anddischarge machine and electrochemical workstation for electrochemical test of lead acidbattery.In the lead-acid battery lead powder is added to the anode material quality by0.0%,0.5%,1.0%,2.0%,4.0%of4BS, preparation of different anode plate. Experimentalresults show that particle size of the positive plate of added4BS smaller and moreuniform, active material structure is more firm. For ifferent added amount, the positiveplate generate largest4BS and active material particle size of uniform size when theseed added1.0%. Positive plate4BS generation increase, the lead-acid battery capacityfell slightly at the beginning, but prolong service life.The study the effect of the positive4BS generation of the positive acid amount,found that the higher sulfuric acid content in anode recipe, the positive generation of4BS lower, the battery have the higher initial capacity, but cycle life of lead acid batteryis decreased obviously.Additive4BS amount was1.0%, the remove graphite anode recipe and preparationof the anode, the4BS generation is lower than that of the added graphite, about21.29%.The particle size positive plate of unadd graphite than that of add graphite smallin half. The battery discharge time of unadd graphite is long than with graphite10min,cycle life is also short.
