Now,as the traffic increasing rapidly, aggravation of axis, canalization of traffic and continuity of high temperatures, the early destruction of asphalt pavement is very serious, so the requirement of asphalt pavement with good performance has becoming more and more urgent. PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture, as a new type of pavement materials, has certain advantages in reducing different types of damage appeared soon after opening to traffic. Combination climate of traffic and structure characteristic of the road in China, it makes system research from material composition and way-use performance, the mechanical properties.Firstly, for the functional requirements of the PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture, advances the technical requirements for its raw materials. Based on the specificity of the modified mechanism of the PR-Module, through the quantitative research on the laboratory test and the Marshall testparameters, educing the test parameters for the PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture.And contrast the optimal asphalt content of the mixture with different PR-Module content, proposed that the optimal asphalt content of PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture than common asphalt mixture increased by0.1%-0.3%.Secondly, through the static modulus test, indirect tensile test and dynamic modulus test, it analyzes the mechanical properties of the mixture with different PR-Module content. The results show that the PR-Module can significantly improve the mechanical strength of the asphalt mixture.And, the dynamic modulus test analyses the temperature and load frequency to the dynamic modulus and the influence of the phase Angle, and makes sure the the dynamic modulus Lord curve.Again, using the triaxial repeated load test, analyses the permanent deformation properties of PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture. The results show that, at higher temperatures with larger deviatoric stress, the deformation of PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture than common asphalt mixture reduced by almost50%.It demonstrates the PR-Module high modulus asphalt mixture has better anti deformation capacity at high temperatures.Finally, by indirect tensile fatigue test, obtained the fatigue equation and fatigue curve of saphalt mixture with different PR-Module content at15℃、20℃and25℃. The results show that, the PR-Module can extend the fatigue life of the asphalt mixture.
