PR Module High Modulus Asphalt Concrete Pavement Performance And Application Technology

With the widely use of asphalt pavement in high grade highway, many difficult problems are highlighted. With the sharp increase in highway traffic in China and not in place of the highway maintenance, the asphalt pavement in our country there are many early damage, such as cracking, rutting, bleeding and so. At present, the use of modified asphalt pavement has become the main measure to solve the above problems, but still not a variety exists from the solution used in the process of the disease, the main problem is caused by high temperature stability of rutting and anti fatigue resistance.In this paper, by adding PR MODULE high modulus additive makes asphalt mixture to high modulus. High modulus asphalt concrete has the advantages of high modulus, porosity, high temperature stability and fatigue resistance of asphalt concrete pavement as well as compared with ordinary or modified asphalt pavement.Therefore the paper has conducted the research to the high modulus of asphalt mixture, the concrete research contents and results are as follows:(1) Based on the PR MODULE high modulus asphalt mixture research on road performance and economic benefits, the best parameters of PR MODULE additives are obtained.(2) Through test road paving, the high modulus asphalt mixture construction technology guide to formulate corresponding ratio design and.(3) Through the test analysis of economic benefit and the experimental section, the performance and economic benefit of high modulus asphalt mixture is better than that of SBS modified asphalt.
