Concrete crack problem is an important issue for academia and engineering, naturally, repair ofcracks become the hot issue of scholars at home and abroad. Study on crack prevention of concretefor more than70years of history, but how to repair crack and damage of concrete structure timely,effective and rapid, has not been formed a relatively complete theory and technology yet.It is testingin laboratory explored currently, substantive progress has not been made.Study on smart concrete is an interdisciplinary research. Intelligent factors included on originalconcrete components, being a multifunctional materials which can detection of cracks, to adapt tothe environment, repairing cracks by itself. In order to prediction of internal injury effectively, meetstructural safety self-testing needed, prevent structural potential brittle failure, and according to thetest results automatically fix. Improve the security and durability of concrete structures. This paperfocuses on biomimetic study of self-repairing concrete materials based in structural engineeringpractice shortcomings and gaps, main findings are as follows:①On the basis of review and analysis a large number of domestic and foreign literature,introduced bio-adhesive application on self-healing of concrete cracks, and corrected this adhesive inthe laboratory, through extensive testing, gotten the modified colloid which can applied to theconcrete crack repair ideally;②Design the formula of self-compacting concrete, apply gel transition to cement mortar layer,polymer cement ratio5%bone glue a cement mortar, Solved the problem of colloids and concreteadhesive;③Added0.75%(volume) polyvinyl alcohol fiber on the control of cracks in concrete better,and design a structure which combined storage template, by comparing tests proved that thespecimens set up the template and transition layer of bone glue and cement mortar, repair effectimproved19.1%and28%respectively than regular concrete specimens, and only set the transitionlayer of bone glue and cement mortar specimens.
