Research On The Pulling Effect Of Road Logistic Center On Service Industry

Recently, with the rapid development of logistics industry, which is a vital importantrole of service industry, and with the enhancing trend of service economic in China, theindustrial relevance and spread effect between them have been the new researchdirection. As an important logistic node, road logistic center is a very good observationpoint in studying the logistics’ pulling effect on service industry. So this dissertationresearches the pulling effect of road logistic center to service industry.Firstly, this thesis gives theoretical overview of logistics in industrial relevance andeffect. In the analysis of study object, it is really less in the research of the pulling effectof logistics on service sector and it is scarcely rare in the study of the effect of roadlogistics center. In the analysis of research method, input-output analysis is a veryimportant method in studying industrial relevance. Then, based on the input-output tableof Chongqing, this article readjusts2010input-output table to the new table of17sectors. Through the research, we confirm the industrial relevance and spread effectbetween logistics and service industry in Chongqing. Furthermore, the drivingmechanism of road logistics center on service sector has been put forward. Theevaluation system of the driving effect of road logistics center on service sector hasbeen established from three aspects: the scale, efficiency and operation cost.Questionnaire has been designed to collect basic data which are analyzed by systematicclustering method. Consequently, the obvious conclusion have been made that the roadlogistic center has the pulling effect on business service and more modernized sectorlike financial and information technology, computer and software. At last, taking theChongqing Yu’nan logistics center as an example, we have an empirical research aboutits pulling effect on service industries and figured out Yu’nan logistic center has asignificant effect in these four aspects: the contribution to service industry output value,the employment’s increasing, the service efficiency’s upgrading and a lower cost.
