As the core component of vehicle control system, vehicle controller plays akey role in vehicle driver control, network management, fault diagnosis andtreatment, condition monitoring, and so on. At present, the transmission system ofdomestic pure electric vehicle usually embarks a fixed ratio reducer. The research offixed ratio reducer is focused on parameters matching and optimization, and asuitable automatic transmission for pure electric vehicle is still in developing stage.Automated mechanical transmission (AMT) is cheap, and easy to manufacture.It is an ideal transmission for the new energy vehicle, commercial and passengervehicle, and is especially suitable for China’s national situation. However, theresearch on domestic pure electric vehicle equipped with two gears AMT is still inits infancy. In order to improve the efficiency of the pure electric vehicle, toimprove the utilization rate of on-board energy, to extend the vehicle’s mileage, toachieve the automatic shift, this paper is focused on the shift control process ofAMT with two gears, and the main content is as follows:Reasonable gear-shift schedules are built according to the experimental data ofthe selected drive motor; Through the detailed analysis of the shift control process,the corresponding shifting control strategies are put forward to gain a fast, accurate,stable shift process; The vehicle’s energy optimization management strategies arebuilt to improve energy utilization rate, and to extend the mileage of the vehicle.Based on the ADVISOR2002, a kind of simulation software for electricvehicles, the simulation models of the pure electric vehicle are modeled in theMATLAB6.1. The dynamic performance and economic performance of the electricvehicle equipped with two gears AMT are verified by the vehicle control strategysimulation.Based on the modularization thinking, the hardware of VCU is designed andgiven, including the signal processing circuit, communication interface circuit,motor drive circuit, and so on.
