The masonry structure housing structure in the form of a long history so far still get awide range of applications. With the force of the earthquake, the differences of the destructionof the house with different seismic design are huge. Seismic reinforcement of basic principlessays that the masonry seismic reinforcement method should facilitate the construction Toreduce the damage to the bearing capacity of the original structure. After years of practicetests, the reinforcement project has mature use of three reinforcements.Seismic code specified ignore its lateral stiffness to the wall of the high aspect ratiogreater than4to exclude its contribution for the seismic bearing capacity,which often leadsto a lack of the overall seismic capacity of masonry structure. Traditional masonry structurereinforcement, also did not consider the contribution of the small pier lateral stiffness ofmasonry earthquake, have not been specifically targeted at the small pier wall segment of themasonry structure reinforcement methods.Science Academy of Anhui Province advanced areinforcement method for small pier combination of small pier column.
