Brick wall structure is commonly applied at rural areas and small-medium cities in China. It’s generally used on multi-story buildings which are mostly seen in residences, schools and hospitals. The key to improve the earthquake resistance of brickwork house is to enhance its integrality, capacity of anti-shearing and anti-bending. In order to increase its overall performance of drawability and shearing resistance, some constructional columns, steel mesh and mortar facing can be added into the wall.In order to study how the multiple composite column influence the anti-shearing performance of brickwork,11 specimens of composite column are set in this test. When designing the wall model specimens, size of structural column and setting the structural reinforcement base on regulation, main consideration is the impact of wall’s width-length ratio, axial compression ratio and structural reinforcement. Pseudo static test shall be conducted under horizontal low cyclic loading condition. This paper researches the anti-seismic performance of wall with special-shaped column, describing failure form, drawing the forcing hysteresis curve and skeleton curve, analyzing its anti-seismic performance such as carrying capacity, deformation capacity, ductility, consumption energy capacity and stiffness degradation.The research results show that the reinforced wall with multiple composite column wi 11 restrain the internal brick walls to some extent. They can resist loads from horizontal and vertical direction. The column will prevent wall’s internal crack from extending, whi ch help to improve its deformation capacity, energy dissipation capacity, integrality and a nti-seismic performance. Either of the higher wall’s width-length ratio, more structural rei nforcement and higher axial compression ratio will bring a better specimens’ductility. It analyzes the influence on ductility and stiffness degradation from different width-length ra tio, axial compression and structural reinforcement. The Tri skeleton curves and calculatio n formula of each feature point are confirmed. Also this research compares between the she ar strength of reinforced wall with multiple composite column and the calculated bearing capacit y of regulated brick masonry and structural column wall. The result shows that the shear strengt h of masonry wall with multiple composite column is no less than the structural column composi te wall.
