Reinforced concrete arch bridge is one of the most rapid developments of bridgestructure in the past one hundred years. But with the increase of arch bridge’s span, thefurther improve of structural complexity, and longer and longer construction period, thetheory of the long-span concrete arch bridge is relatively backward. A lot of technicalproblems remain to be solved or researched in the process of construction. Such as in theconstruction process of concrete arch bridge, the stability study of each construction stageis not enough in-depth and comprehensive. Therefore, the stability study of long-spanreinforced concrete arch bridge has a certain theoretical value and practical significance. This paper takes the large-span bridge of MengCheng Guo river project as background.Using the finite element software Midas to establish the finite element model, and thenanalyze the stability of structure in each construction stage. And at the same time I havecarried on the following researches:1. Research the linear elastic stability analysis and geometrical nonlinear stability ofthe bridge in different Construction stage. Also study the instability form of the bridge.2. The key design parameters of the reinforced concrete arch bridge were studied.Discussed the reinforced concrete arch bridge arch rib to effect on the stability of thestructure, and also discussed the parametric variation of cross-brace arrangement form andposition, collar beam stiffness, collar beam prestressed, boom stiffness and boom tension onthe influence of the bridge stability. The present study for stability of the three arch rib tied arch bridge is not enough. Thedesign and calculation are also not perfect. I hope that through the above-mentioned studies, this paper can provide certain theoretical basis for the construction of long-span three archrib arch bridge to in the future.
