Therefore, how to accurate understanding of human activities and natural factors on the impact of farmland landscape distribution, better to promote the rational use of land resources has become a major topic to be studied.Analysis of landscape pattern has an important position, in landscape ecological research in recent years, quantitative methods in landscape pattern analysis was further developed, has been widely used in different landscape patterns, with "3S" technology as the representative of the new technology in the landscape pattern research increasingly mature research, quantitative analysis of landscape pattern provide effective means. Agricultural landscape have greater variability than the natural landscape, it is restricted by the natural environment, but also affected by human activities and social economic condition and intervention.This paper is located in the Mid-Levels hilly area Xiangyuan county farmland landscape distribution status of landscape pattern analysis. Analysis and landscape pattern analysis software FRAGSTATS3.3quantitative analysis of Xiangyuan county’s cultivated land landscape structure and spatial pattern distribution by using the principle of landscape ecology, landscape index; by means of the spatial analysis function of ARCGIS, spatial distribution characteristics of farmland from the slope, road, river and analysis; aims to reveal the mechanism and law Xiangyuan County Cultivated Land evolution, to promote sustainable use of land resources, Xiangyuan County Cultivated Land and other similar County cultivated land protection work has certain practical significance and value.
