Since the announcement of the first batch of traditional villages in 2012,as of July 2019,6,189 villages have been included in the public list,and the protection of traditional villages has been increasingly valued.At the same time,the impact of the urbanization process and inappropriate tourism development methods have also adversely affected the protection of traditional villages.Cultivated land landscape is the most important component of traditional villages,and its planning and design are worthy of consideration in village protection and development planning.However,at this stage,there is not much research on the landscape of traditional village arable land,and research on its planning and design is relatively rare.This research studies the landscape planning and design of cultivated land in traditional villages in Hunan from the perspective of protection and development of traditional villages.The purpose is to protect the traditional village style and continue the farming culture,enhance the production and appreciation of the cultivated land landscape,and then achieve the integration of agriculture and tourism.Through literature surveys,field investigations,case studies,and multi-level analysis,etc.,with Hunan as the research area,Zhang Guying Village was selected as the empirical object,and the research on the cultivated land landscape planning and design of traditional villages in Hunan was carried out.The results are as follows:(1)Basically explain the concept of cultivated land landscape in traditional villages.Through landscape classification and analysis,it is believed that the cultivated land landscape is relatively independent and forms a composite system with its surrounding environment and production and living landscape.It has the characteristics of production,ecology,life and culture,and corresponds to the corresponding functions.It has the value of agricultural heritage and has mutual assistance with the ecological,agricultural,and tourism aspects of traditional villages.(2)Guided by the theories of landscape ecology and beautiful village planning,a method for arable land landscape planning of traditional villages is proposed: the basic farmland area and the general arable land area are distinguished in the overall structure of the village,and the cultural relics construction area,irrigation system,mountain forest Such as overall planning,construction of ecological zones and sightseeing experience zones and corresponding thematic units of cultivated land landscape;design of cultivated land landscape partitions,nodes,cultivated road landscapes and crop landscapes.Through the investigation and analysis of the cultivated land landscape of traditional villages in Hunan,the characteristics of more hills and mountains in the cultivated land landscape of traditional villages in Hunan are obtained.Analyze its landscape culture and its essential characteristics,and analyze and summarize three cases.This will further provide a reference for the planning and design of cultivated land in traditional villages in Hunan.(3)An example of the verification of Zhang Guying Village using the landscape planning and design method of traditional villages in Hunan From the overall planning to the cultivated land landscape design,a cultivated land landscape system integrating ecological,cultural,production and tourist villages is formed.The rationality of the planning method is verified,which can provide reference for the landscape planning and design of traditional village cultivated land in Hunan and even everywhere.Cultivated land landscape is an important part of traditional village landscape,and its planning and design is also an important content of traditional village protection and development planning.The planning of cultivated land landscape helps promote the development and integration of traditional village agriculture and tourism and the protection of farming culture,and contributes to the sustainable development of traditional villages.
