With the development of the aerospace industry, a single spacecraft now can’t meetrequirements of complex tasks. Multiple spacecraft formation flying, which cancomplete many complex tasks such as target acquistion, orbital rendezvous, closetracking, and accompanying flying, has become a hot issue among the world’s majorspace powers. The simulation system for spacecraft attitude and orbit control provides aground verification platform for GNC, orbital maneuver and attitude control. Itimproves security and reliable of spacecraft and has important and practical meanings.The paper focuses on design, implementation, and the simulation methods of thesimulation system, meanwhile the main research results are summarized as follows:The paper builds the mathematical model of the relative orbit, deduces the basicrelativistic dynamics called C-W equation, analyses the equation by mathematicsmethods, and does the mathematical simulation in the natural state. The simulationresult shows that without any disturbance, two spacecraft can keep relatively stable orbitmotion. The paper also researches the disturbance influence on the relatively orbitmotion.It designs the simulation system for spacecraft attitute and orbit control, andexplains what consist of the simulation system and what functions of subsystems are;aiming at the issue of the motion simulator, the compression problem has been solved;aiming at the issue of the distributed simulation system, the paper solves the dataefficient transmission problem among subsystems; aiming at the issue of the dynamicsimulation system, we design a concrete scheme, which makes this system have goodscalability; the paper also completes the integrated monitoring system, which providesfriendly man-machine interfaces for ground operators.It summaries the purposes and categories of the ground simulation. According todifferent tasks, it design the simulation experiment scheme, points out that the mainpurpose of simulation is to verify the validity of control raw and the sensor’ s workingstatus; it completes the simulation experiment on the designed simulation system inview of the orbital maneuver issue. The experiment result shows that the designedsimulation system works well and can meet the requirement.In order to solve the problem, deep space exploration taking a long time when itruns, the paper presents the concept of super real-time HIL simulation system toreduces the time consumption during the simulation. We make a strict mathematicaldefinition on the simulation time issue. Basing on the practical engineering, we designthe super real-time HIL simulation system and do the confirmatory experiment. The experiment result shows that the system designed works well.
