The RC frame structure infilled with unreinforced masonry walls is one of the most common structure systems in our country. According to the existing design code of building structures, the infilled walls are typically considered as nonstructural elements and often overlooked in the structural analysis and design. They are only considered as the load applied to the frame structure and the reduction factor for the period of the whole structures to consider the impact of the infills on the frames. Researches have been found that the RC frame structure buildings infilled with unreinforced masonry walls are very seriously damaged during earthquakes. This phenomenon indicates that the previous understandings of the mechanical properties of this structure in design have such a certain deviation from the actual situation. Therefore, it is of important scientific significance and practical value to guide the work of infilled RC frame structural reliability and disaster prevention and mitigation systemically by carrying out infilled RC frame structure seismic performance studies to reveal the interaction between RC frames and infills.The material composition of infilled RC frame is very complex. Most of the materials are heterogeneous and brittle. They have very complex constitutive relations. Besides, bond-slip models among various kinds of materials and between RC frames and infills to simulate micro model are also needed. There is no unified method of finite element numerical simulation until now. Based on the above, this paper attempts to use ANSYS finite element software to explore a refinement numerical simulation method to simulate infilled RC frame structure effectively. The main contents are as follows:(1) Based on the existing experiment, the finite element model of pure RC frame is established and verified whether it is carried out by the corresponding experiment results, which can lay the foundation for further study of the finite element model of infilled RC frame structure.(2) Based on the established finite element model of pure RC frame, connective elements which simulate the connectivity between masonry and masonry of internal infills and simulate between infills and RC frames are used. Combine the function of element birth and death, gradual refinement finite element numerical simulation model of infilled RC frame structure is established by using uniform design method to arrange facts and verified whether it is carried out by the corresponding experiment results.
