With the vehicle weapon、cannon’s firing accuracy and stability requirementscontinue to increase, the dynamic characteristics when it shoots has attached moreand more attention in research and design. In this paper, according to thecharacteristics of vehicle weapon’s firing process, made its model and detailedanalysis, the main contents including the following aspects:(1) According to their own vehicle weapon element characteristics, can bedivided into different sections, using the transfer matrix method of multibody tomodel and analysis, wrote a detailed link between each component and analyzemulti-body transfer Matrix Method’s advantage in artillery modeling.(2) Detailed analysis of the process of vehicle weapon firing ballistic law,divide it into three phases: early, the first period and the second period, the modelused classic interior ballistic equations, and used analytical method to solvedifferent periods the interior ballistic equations.(3) When vehicle weapon is shooting, the recoil movement affect its dynamiccharacteristic changes can be regarded as the biggest factor, this recoil movement isdivided into three periods: the projectile in the bore movement, after effect periodand inertial motion period, we carried out a detailed analysis and solution of recoilmovement in each period.(4) Used Matlab to simulate self-propelled artillery’s firing process andobtained a variety of simulation curves, including the interior ballistics of chamberpressure time curve, projectile velocity time curve, recoil movement of thedisplacement-time curve, muzzle all directions displacement and angulardisplacement curves, and analyzed the result under the conditions of differentshooting angles and corners.(5) Made a simple model and simulation for the process of external ballistics,achieved the motion curve after the projectile flying out of the muzzle underdifferent conditions. Finally in Matlab GUI module designed a simple graphical userinterface, basic realized the above functions, made a foundation for next possibilityof work.
