With the rapid development of construction, building machinery——tower crane is moreand more extensive application. tower crane have high work gravity, huge elevating capacity,fast running speed. If the construction site decorate group of tower cranes close cross work atthe same time, between tower cranes and tower cranes, tower cranes and fixed obstaclesaround possible occur collision. It bring a variety of hidden troubles to tower cranes safetyconstruction. So the study to control system of anti-collision for group of tower cranes has agreat actual significance.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the current situation of tower cranes safetymonitor system, combined with the embedded technology, sensor technology, short distancewireless communication technology, the paper has developed the control system ofanti-collision for group of tower cranes based on ZigBee technology. ARM9microcontrolleras the core of the system, and it realized on-line monitor and early warning informationprocessing of tower cranes hoisting height angle and range. This paper also discuss thewireless communication networking mode of group of tower cranes and the wirelesstransmission protocol of tower cranes’ running state information. Use full-duplex ZigBeewireless communication module have realized state information interaction of tower cranes,analysis several possible collision on the construction site, meanwhile establish distributedanti-collision control model for group of tower cranes.According to the requirement of real-time by control system of anti-collision for groupof tower cranes, the whole system mainly consists of signal acquisition processing module,ARM9microprocessor module, wireless communication ZigBee module, alarm system, datastorage module, output control module, human-computer interaction module. The applicationprograms are designed based on WINCE6.0operating system platform, choose Visual Studio2005as a development tool. This paper has designed the anti-collision operation controlalgorithm and man-machine interaction operate interface, the multithreaded synchronizationmode is choosed, effectively avoid the multithreading blocking and conflict problem.In this paper, we choose three tower cranes which have cross area and possible occurcollision in a construction site to test function and stability of the prototype. The results showthe correctness of the system and the feasibility of the algorithm, which can effectivelyprevent the operation collision of tower cranes and achieve the expected design index.
