In this paper, according to the future advanced turboshaft engine development needs, proposedtwo future advanced turboshaft engine design point performance schemes by using Gasturb10software, these two schemes are the improved performance scheme and the double shaft combinationcompressors turboshaft engine performance scheme.In order to estimate the performance of the turboshaft engine in the flight envelope, especially inthe cruise state, this paper proposed a multimode design method which can calculate the performanceof take off state and cruise state at the same time. Built the design point and the off-design pointperformance calculated model of the double rotor combinated compressor turboshaft engine by usingthe variable specific heat thermodynamic calculation method and write the design point and theoff-design performance calculation program by using the C++software.In the multimode design method calculated process and off-design performance calculated process,the program needs the component characteristic performance, but the component characteristicperformance does not exist at the beginning of the design. So get the needed component characteristicperformance through the existing component characteristic performance with the scaling method so asto calculate the characteristic performance of speed, temperature, altitude and velocity by using theprogram.By using the mulitmode design method, this paper proposed a new double rotor combinatedcompressor turboshaft engine performance scheme.
