In recent years, With the increasing the production capacity, output and rawmaterials demand expands ceaselessly. The trestle develope in to kinds of large spanand large-scale. Some large trestle transportation distance has thousands of meters high,conveying capacity of thousands of tons per hour. Up to now, few study of the coalhandling trestle have been published.The conveying coal trestle is a kind of special industrial buildings used to connectthe buildings of coal storage and transportation and power plant. It is very importantduring the whole production process. In this paper, the main research is made up of thefollowing several parts:1. Trestle structure application at home and abroad, as well as the current researchstatus.2. To analys a project with the traditional design methods.3The matters deserving attention in construction process.4To analys the truss structure by the finite element method， then study showsthat the traditional design method is more conservative.
