Strategy Of The Traditional Village Space Form’s Renewal In The Central Regions Of Inner Mongolia

In China,the central region of Inner Mongolia is the part of the Northwest dryfarming area.In this area，farming is the main industry.The local residences adapt todifferent landform, cold climate and other natural conditions very well and form aproper building plane and Village space with many different raw soil buildings andcourtyards composed.In recent years,as responding to the relevant policies in national about developthe western region of China and agriculture,the economy in the central regions ofInner Mongolia has developed very quickly. All rural areas carry out the new ruralconstruction actively and acquired remarkable effect. But, in the traditional settlementrenewal, because of lacking the relevant theories and research, the renewal method cannot to meet the needs of the villagers and the whole society. In the process of renewal,the phenomenon of ignoring the regional traditional, divorced from the reality situation,large-scale demolition and copy the rigid pattern often happened. It is impede thesustainable development of traditional village.This article try to propose a strategy to reconcile the contradiction between thetraditional space form and modern life, make contributions to traditional villagerenewal in the central regions of Inner MongoliaThis paper select Yuanzigou village of Liangcheng county as research of carrier，the needs of modern life as a research perspective and renewal mode of the villagespace form as the research object. Using the research method of morphology, architectural typology combined with the study of urban and rural planning,environment behavior science, geography, cultural heritage protection science and soon, make a comprehensive analysis of the space form of Yuanzigou village. From thevillage level and the courtyard level, analysis the characteristics of each element whichcompose the village space form, and the relationship of each other, and summarizeall this in form. And then, analysis the factors which urges the village renewal, whichis the villagers demand and external factors, analysis the problems. And then, putforward the corresponding strategy to solve the problems, proposed the goal, principleand thinking of renewal,put forward the concrete solutions to the problem.At last, practice and deepening the renewal strategy, complete the design andprovide a reference for the renewal of the traditional villages in the central regions ofInner Mongolia.
